Mapped: How your neighbourhood votes

The most recent election result, ward-by-ward, mapped

The vast majority of voters pay little attention to politics. For many it would be difficult to name their MP, let alone their local councillor. Do people even know how their neighbourhoods vote?

Using years of data aggregation from Britain Elects, State of the Nation is proud to publish a zoomable ward-by-ward map of the most recent local election result across all corners of Great Britain.

Explainer

This map displays the first-placed party of the most recent election held in the electoral ward. Wards are the areas represented by councillors. In Scotland and Wales, the most recent election would, save for council by-elections, be that of 2017. In places such as Manchester or the Wirral, it would be 2021.
